Ms. Kasey is a co-owner of The Falls Church Goddard School along with her brothers, Davis and Harrison, as well as their spouses. The Chau Family have personally designed their facility to create a supportive atmosphere for both children and parents. Kasey’s goal is to work hand in hand with families, offering guidance and support as their child sets out on the path of life-long learning. Kasey’s path includes a career in content creation and digital marketing, a bachelor's degree from Virginia Tech, and MBA from Georgetown University. Kasey enjoys teaching yoga in her free time, as well as traveling to new places. When she was very young, her favorite book was Strega Nona by Tomie de Paola.
Originally from Tampa, Florida, Ms. Tacey brings a wealth of experience and expertise to our organization. She has previously served as a director at The Celebree School, where she honed her specialization in accreditation, ensuring the highest standards of educational excellence. In her free time, Ms. Tacey loves spending quality moments with her family and exploring the great outdoors. Her passion for nature and family time perfectly complements her professional dedication. A lover of children's literature, Ms. Tacey's favorite book is "Where the Wild Things Are," reflecting her appreciation for creativity and imagination in early childhood education. We are excited to have her on board and look forward to the positive impact she will make on our educational programs.
Ms. Emely brings over seven years of dedicated experience in early childhood education to our institution. Her journey in education is deeply rooted in her family's legacy, as she comes from a long line of educators who have instilled in her a passion for teaching and nurturing young minds. Ms. Emely holds a Bachelor's degree in English as a Second Language (ESL), which has equipped her with the skills and knowledge to effectively communicate and engage with diverse student populations. Additionally, she has an Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education, providing her with a solid foundation in the principles and practices essential for fostering the development and growth of young children. Ms. Emely's favorite children's book is "If You Give a Mouse a Cookie" by Laura Numeroff.
Ms. Linda, our dedicated Mandarin Enrichment Teacher, enriches our community with her extensive knowledge of the Mandarin language and Chinese culture. Ms. Linda received her degree from Tianjin University. Since 1998, Ms. Linda has been imparting her knowledge and passion at Potomac Elementary, where she has inspired countless students with her dynamic teaching methods. Her decades of experience in education have refined her ability to connect with learners of all ages, making her an exceptional instructor.
Ms. Lynn comes from Alexandria, Virginia, with a bachelor's degree in Rehabilitation Science and a minor in Clinical Psychology. Developing a passion for understanding human behavior and nurturing young minds, she decided to pursue her passion for early childhood education, playing a key role in setting up our school’s classrooms and technology. Fluent in Vietnamese, Ms. Lynn easily connects with students from various backgrounds to create an inclusive atmosphere. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, playing video games, and dancing. Her favorite children’s book is "The Very Hungry Caterpillar" by Eric Carle.
After retiring from a 36-year career in public education, Mrs. Polly traded teenagers for toddlers. Her background includes a bachelor's degree from Youngstown State University, teaching high school courses in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Earth Science as well as Science Department Chair. She is excited to help introduce the wonders of science to another generation of curious minds. Polly and her husband, Wayne, have a grown son and daughter. In her spare time, she enjoys doing needlework and watching her favorite Ohio sports teams. When she was very young, her favorite book was The House at Pooh Corner by A.A. Milne.
